A five-star cooking and culinary experience held during the legendary Franschhoek Champagne Festival. Participants stay in luxurious accommodation, dine at one of the top ten restaurants in the world, and enjoy interactive cooking under the guidance of some of the most popular and successful chefs in South Africa. Taste South African Methôde Cap Classique (MCC) at the one of the most important events on the South African culinary calendar.
 Welcome to Franschhoek, Valley of the Huguenots and an undoubted gem in the world of gastronomy. This fertile ground is where the French first made wine in South Africa 300 years ago. Soak up your exquisite surrounds then taste some of the superb Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon and Chenin Blanc varieties or fill your tasting glass with the distinctive flavours of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Merlot wines.
Enjoy luxury hotel accommodation and a food-and-wine pairing dinner at one of the three top restaurants in the Franschhoek. Of course there will be Methôde Cap Classique tastings galore (participants spend an entire champagne-fueled day at the festival itself), along with a hands-on cooking experience with one of the country's finest chefs who resides in the area. This gourmet experience can also include a vintage car collection visit, a tasting and tour at a local chocolate producer, a sabrage demonstration, a tasting with a local charcuterie expert and shopping opportunities at some of the local boutique stores.

This trip can be done on a self-drive to the venue or pick-up from Cape Town airport can be arranged. Tour guides and translators can be arranged to suit the group.
This trip needs to be done at the end of November at the time of the Franschhoek Champagne Festival is held. The trip can also be organized at other times of the year, but the festival will be excluded.
